Foist time in a while.

Im sitting at John's house once again as it is the only way I can do this. Dont you worry, Ill have a way to do this from my house soon enough. Maybe.

So John isn't actually here right now. Neither is Lena. Or their mom. It's just me and his dad. His dad is the one sitting in the living room watching something that is terrifying me just listening to it. Lots of screams and yelling. It's mainly women doing the screaming too, so it sounds like they're all getting raped or something. Maybe Johns dad is into that. Who knows?

Okay I apologize for that last comment. It was inapropriate. Not that John wouldn't take it to much farther lengths, but still, he aint my pops. Not that that has ever stopped John before either about my father.

I finally started writing some music again last night. It get better whenever I wait for a long time and then only write when I feel inspired. Plus I have the chance to record it with a mid 30's Berklee graduate that has some pretty good recording stuff who can help out a bit with getting ideas out, even if they're just little ones.

ATTENTION!!!
Only one month exactly until I go see Chick Corea at the Berklee theatre. I will try to keep you updated about that, and how the show was when it is over. But for now you have to wait.

Oooooohhh it's a vampire movie that Norman is watching. That would explain the screaming... maybe. Mwaha. I haven't freely updated like this in a long time, if ever. It feels good I'll tell you what.

I'm thinkin that I'm gonna try to scope out some people that may know how to play some more middle-eastern type music. Cause frankly, Im getting pretty bored with Americanized stuff. Not that it's boring per se, I mean, who doesn't enjoy some straight blues or.... techno, every now and then. I sure do. Aside from the techno part. It's just that I've realized that I get so much more pleasure out of hearing a tabla and a bansuri communicating musically with eachother than I do a guitar playing a self-absorbed solo over a steady rock backbeat. It's almost indescribable the feeling that one can get from a perfectly harmonized south african chant after a "stream of consciousness" type of "ritual" stomp.

Well I'm sure none of you would care much to hear any more of that. So here ends this mindless banter.
